Rottnest Island is an island 18km off the coast of Western Australia. If you’re short on open-water marathon swimming skills, fear not! Ferries go back and forth to Rottnest all day. There’s always hitching a ride over on a mate’s boat if you can swing it, too!

There’s two different ferry services operating that we recommend for Castaway. Southsiders, it’s best for you to catch the ferry that leaves from Fremantle. Northies, best to go the ferry that leaves from Hillarys Boat Harbour.
